Don Benigno Dahua's Medicine House


Aloha everyone, 

I recently spend a couple of weeks in the Amazon sharing time with my dear teacher Don Benigno Dahua. He is a humble teacher that lives with very little. He lives in a very small house with his wife, daughter and 2 grandchildren. We would do the ceremonies on the kitchen floor right next to his family sleeping.

I felt a deep calling to help him raise money in order to build a separate structure where he can work without disturbing his Family. He was working in collaboration with a foreigner in a retreat center but got taken advantage and never got his share of the deal. He is 75 years old, carries invaluable wisdom and knowledge of the Amazonian healing plants and has helped my tremendously.

With the construction of the house, he will have the space to work comfortably, frequently and without needing to depend on other people so he can sustain himself. It was very humbling to see him with so little that late in his life. It would also help preserve this ancient wisdom as he would have the space where he can teach others about it.

With your help, we will be providing a space where transformation, healing and growth can happen and he will be making his life long dream come true.
