Dog Bite Surgery - Medical & Missed Work

I am asking for a little financial help for my bestfriend Kayla who was attacked by a dog and suffered a deep bite to her face. She was rushed to the ER where she underwent a 3 hour surgery and now has 30 stiches in her upper nose near her eye and lip. The trauma to her face will take time to heal & during this time she will not have any income.
She is an American Sign Language interpreter, this type of career involves heavy use of facial expression so she will be missing work during the healing process. She is employed as an independent contractor which means she does not get paid when she takes sick time.
The heavy financial burden for medical bills coupled with missing work has brought us to create this Go Fund me account.
