Tim Hefferan's Roton Middle School math competition is underway! The math class from the 7th grade is competing against the 8th grade class on a daily basis. The competition includes quiz averages, homework completion and class participation.
Both math classes will be rewarded for their efforts and will attend a Knicks game with the help of this fundraising campaign. The winning class will also receive the grand prize of going down to the floor to give each Knick player a high-five as they enter the court for the game.
We aim to raise the funds needed by February 20 so that we are able to secure the opportunity to have our students participate in the Knicks "High-Five Program".
Our class competition started on November 15, 2015 and there has been a noticiable difference in students' motivation to do their best. Every student involved has expressed an incredible desire to win this competition for their class.
Please give what you can to help students achieve their academic goals and prepare themselves for the future!
