Dmitri Phelps Memorial Fund

This is a fund in memory of Dmitri Phelps, who bravely fought an aggressive form of brain cancer for over a year and tragically passed away on January 20th, 2018.  We have encountered so many wonderful people in the Branchburg and Somerville community who were actively with us every step of this horrific way.  If all the love and support you gave us  could have saved Dmitri, we know  he would still be with us, happy and healthy. We want to have Dmitri's legacy in Branchburg and Somerville, the places that loved him immensely and where he was truly happy. We would like to raise enough money so that on Dmitri's birthday, April 5th,  we can do something in Dmitri's memory. We have a few ideas, but we still need time to shape and finalize them.   One might be some improvements to the basketball facility at White Oak Park, where Dmitri loved to play; the other might be a gift to Somerville High School for either foreign languages or perhaps the Model UN program or something that encourages international studies/world affairs.
