This is for Woz

 

This is for our good friend Woz.

 

I want to let him know that the Melbourne Dj Community and Venues where Woz has played care about him and his family and that we will support him and his lovely wife Kat and 2 beautiful daughters, Summer and Harmony in their time of need.

 

Everybody who has come into contact with Woz, has been graced by his positivity, that huge smile and the sunshine he seems to beam invisibly in any room he is in!

 

I'm Mr Lob, a Melbourne Dj and have only recently had the opportunity to meet Woz and he has left a deep impression on my soul and life, like I know he has the many people he has met over his 32 year journey as a dj.

 

Aj Ghostnotes, Dj Obliveus and myself formed a new all 45s Dj crew to do parties with Woz and we've managed to squeeze 2 amazing events in together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Woz has battled cancer for 3 years and unfortunately his battle will soon be over but the impression he has left on all the lives he has touched will go on forever and I want us all to do something for his wife and children, to leave a legacy in Woz's name about the love we feel for him and that we do care and we will share, like Woz has graciously done for us.

 

On that note last Sunday I had the honour to play Woz's last gig with him and it was the most emotional day and gig I’ve ever been to, funny, heartbreaking, joyous and beautiful.

 

 

If you know Woz he is a bright shining beacon and a true believer in the art of djing and keeping a positive spin on life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now is our turn to step up and show that we love Woz and will do something in his name, for his family.

Woz has also been a member of the Melbourne Football Club all his life and wants to say thank you to the Melbourne Army and Melbourne Football Club for all their support.

It was great to see Woz on the Channel 9 News on 3 January 2021 being presented with the Premiership Cup Melbourne won.

 

All funds raised besides the GoFundMe commission will be donated directly to Woz's family bank account which will be linked directly to receive these funds.
