DJ needs our help

Hi my name is Angelique and I’m the proud Auntie of Durette Bowman better known as DJ. You may or may not know that this beautiful sweet little guy just survived one of the most horrific ordeals and he survived it with more humility and grace than many adults could ever hope to do. You see he fell five fights hitting air conditioners on the way down. He broke many bones on his left hand side, several in his arm , his hip, a few ribs, several in his leg as well as fracturing his skull. He was not expected to make it through the night because his broken bones were only part of the problem. However through many many many prayers not only did he make it through the night he made it through each obstacle this ordeal dealt him and not once did I see him cry. As he prepares to go home my family and I are hoping to help his parents safety proof their home extensively. Durette isn’t your ordinary child he suffers from autism and barely talks but he’s very strong and fast with a strong will of determination. Therefore whatever he puts his mind to he will go after it with everything he’s got until he succeeds or is tired. We are hoping to make his room full sensory so that there is plenty to keep him occupied and make sure windows, door knobs, wall edges as well as cabinets etc. are safely covered or locked to prevent harm. We also need to make sure all furniture in his room is nailed down to limit him from rearranging () his bedroom. Also his parents used vehicle is dying and they are in need of a new car to get around to dr appts, therapy etc. , all of which cost a bundle so could you please find it in your heart to help out by donating whatever you can.
