DIY PPE
Given the severe lack of PPE for all health and front line workers in the country during the Coronavirus pandemic it has fallen to members of the community to do what they can to help.
I have bought a 3D printer with the aim of making full face shields/visors (first picture) and ear savers for surgical masks (second picture). I want to make as many as I possibly can and these will be distributed for free to NHS workers, care home staff and front line staff in Lincolnshire (Boston, Spalding, Bourne) and Peterborough, to try and do something to protect them from harm.
Please give what you can, there is no big goal here, but as Tesco say, every little helps.
If there is any money left over at the end of this, or if something bad happens to the printers (or me for that matter), it will be donated to a suitable fund to help families affected by Covid19 . I will give updates on this at the time.
