Divinity Foundation in Kenya

I  will be joining a group of osteopaths on a 2 week trip to Nairobi, Kenya in October to work with the charity Divinity Foundation.  Divinity Foundation is a private Humanitarian Aid Organization founded by Osteopathic Practitioner, Nav Matharu which empowers and offers support to orphaned, abandoned and impoverished children and mothers as a result of FGM.  www.divinityfoundation.com  In Kenya the practise of FGM is still wide spread and the charity provides help and support for girls who have undergone this barbaric treatment and are living with the complications.
I have always wanted to do some sort of humanitarian work with my midwifery qualification and so it is very exciting for me to finally be able to do fulfil my dream.  We will be visiting outlying areas outside Nairobi and living in basic accommodation.  I will be taking two weeks unpaid leave and so I am fundraising to help pay for my flight and accommodation.  Therefore I would be very, very grateful for any donations that you can make towards the cost of my trip.  With your help I hope to play a small part in improving the lives of some of the girls and women that I meet during my trip.  Thank you very much!!
