I have two local park tai chi sessions going on for 3 years, and I have some tai chi tuition in different social groups and community centres, as well as my own class in rented facilities. As the whole world seemed to go social distancing mode, my elderly friends who have been in love with tai chi suddenly lost their new found world. and I lost my income from tai chi classes and paid sessions.

To go online live stream seemed to be the only alternative.

So the idea of Distancing Tai Chi Sessions on Facebook group is born and ready to go live as I am starting to add my paying class students...But hang on, what about the free sessions, there are so many more other community friends who need continue with their tai chi.

So only doing live stream for paying student is not the idea, though nothing wrong to first want to take them into consideration, because they have paid.

But I want to make the online session available to all of my tai chi friends.

And in the context of this very moment of social distancing and self isolation at home, many others who have not come to know about tai chi  may well be doing so simply to combat boredom and better still, to strengthen immune system. There is nothing more doable than Tai Chi.

The government should have recommended tai chi as part of their asking of people staying home, as award, encouragement or enticement. So the saying home is not a mere passive and negative time, but constructive innovative and enjoyably, even an important and proactive measure against the pandemic.

The health enhancing and beneficial aspects of tai chi practice for the elderly particularly is well documented, hence we are saving lives in the face of this virus attack on humanity.

Anyway, in my capacity and influence, and with your help,so the donation may make up 2100 a month, then I don’t have to be unemployed, and 300 local people keeping up their tai chi at home contributing to the overall fight against the virus.

Please join me. Please help. Please ask your friends to help, please pass on to whoever you think may help, including government, businesses charities.

Together we win.
