Déise Men’s Shed Relocation Fundraiser

The Déise Men’s Shed provides people with a fantastic community based resource. The shed has had to relocate recently at huge expense and we are reaching out to you for support to help with these costs.

Since the shed was established the shed has supported many projects. These projects included the very successful Waterford Greenway Bee Hotel initiative. Working with Waterford Council and National Data Biodiversity Centre our shed built many Bee Hotels which are now located on The Greenway. Other projects include seating benches for The Waterford Solas Centre, countless buddy benches for local schools, props and stage backdrops for musical societies to name a few. We continue to reach out to the community offering a very individual service on a voluntary bases. Countless community organisations have benefited directly from the Déise Men’s Shed.

We currently have approaching 50 members who partake in shed activities. As you can imagine an operation of this scale costs a considerable amount of money to run not to mention the additional relocation costs. All support is much appreciated.
