This GoFundMe is for a Community Tab to be offered at Diorio's of Palisade, the pizzeria & sub shop located in Palisade Colorado.
The Community Tab is for individuals & families that are currently in need of a meal, but are too financially burdened to obtain one.
The Community Tab is also meant to provide a thank you meal for the health care workers and essential personal. Those sacrificing the safety of their health & well being for the greater good.
Everything off the standard menu is offered, as well as the We Make You Bake Lasagna (lasagna requires 24 hour notice). There will be a quantity limitation of two to three items per order and one lasagna per order.
Just call Diorio's of Palisade and ask to place an order under the Community Tab. Everything after that is just as it would be. Arrive in the specified time frame, pick up the order and enjoy.
Our goal is to simply provide a slice of normalcy, a meal of nostalgia to ease the uncomfortability of these current circumstances.
We are not qualified to vent the public's usage of this Community Tab. It will be based on the honor system; an examination that relies solely on the honesty of those concerned.
This idea of a Community Tab was was directly inspired by Brian Cox, his family, and the Black Bear Orchard. They selflessly and generously opened a tab that served roughly 170 meals to those in need.
