Hi All:
Our dear friend and colleague Dina Soroka has been diagnosed with cancer in both lungs and a lesion on the liver. She is currently in Boston waiting on a treatment plan and next steps. She will undergo chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
In an attempt to alleviate some of the costs associated with her treatment, I have set up this go fund me page.
Dina has spent the majority of her life supporting people with developmental disabilities and is loved by many clients and staff alike. Her contribution to their lives has been immeasurable. She has a contagious incredible personality and has given to so many over the years. She is fighting a very tough uphill battle and believes miracles happen every day & so do I.
Every contribution helps so that she can focus on her healing. Her and her husband Syd also have to maintain their household expenses back in Ottawa on top of their costs in Boston.
