Difficult times for Joyce, Christian and Simon

Joyce, her husband Christian, and their firstborn son Simon are friends from the Philippines having some rough times. Christian is currently unable to work due to a hernia, while Simon has health issues of his own and neither parent has enough income to make ends meet.
