Diane Hessedences Medical expenses

We are establishing this GoFund Me to help offset medical expenses that are continuing to come in. Diane is always the first person to help everyone when they ask and also puts the needs of others before herself. This is just one way we can show how much we appreciate and love Diane for everything that she has done for others.

All the prayers and positivity have been greatly appreciated by her family during one of the hardest events Diane and her family have faced.

As many of you know, Diane was hospitalized for 10 days with double pneumonia stemming from Covid-19. Against all odds while in the hospital she fought her battle and we are truly blessed that she is still with us today. Upon release from the hospital, she was sent home on 7 liters of oxygen and had to have respiratory, physical, and occupational therapists come to her home multiple times through the week to help rehabilitate just her basic functions. After almost 3 months, she was able to get off of oxygen. Diane is still currently being monitored by her pulmonary Dr. because she has severe damage to her lungs from battling Covid-19. She was having an ongoing issue with her hand, wrist, and elbow stemming from her arm being in the same spot with an IV in it during her hospital stay. After 20 weeks of therapy and various appointments, she had an EMG Nerve Conductive test done which showed severe damage to the nerve. The next step is for her to get surgery and pray that it help alleviates pain and brings back the function and feeling in her arm.
