Diane and the late Steve Blassingame home caught on fire in the early morning hours of 24 December 2018. Their daughter Annie spent the night with her that Sunday night. About 2 am Diane woke because she could hear the sound of the fire. She could see the flames under the bedroom door. She and Annie went out the bedroom patio door to get to a safe distance from the house.  Diane and Annie are safe and sustained no injuries however, the home is a total loss. The GoFundMe account was created because so many have asked how can they help.  The Blassingame family are coping with the stress of this tragedy and the necessary steps with the insurance company.  At this time they request time to  recuperate before taking phone calls or text messages.  We Praise God for their safety and protection.
