Diana Surgery Round 2

We start by thanking everyone who has so generously contributed to Diana Lerwick's healing fundraiser, preceding and following surgery to remove the trigeminal schwanomma brain tumor .

The initial surgery went fairly well, but there have been a few setbacks. Their family home in Sebastopol recently went on the market, causing a big uprooting, and relocation. Additionally, it has been determined that another surgery is needed. Diana has been experiencing extreme fatigue, blurry vision and other symptoms that indicate a cerebral spinal fluid leak needs to be repaired as soon as possible. 

Diana goes in for a second surgery Tuesday, July 31st.

Please join us in sending her love and healing thoughts during her lengthy surgery and convalescence to follow. Several months of recovery will follow, with strict orders from her surgeon that she rest and remain sedentary, to avoid risk of insufficient recovery.

This has been an incredibly hard road for Diana. It has been difficult, yet inspiring to witness her struggle and her courage.
