Diabetic Service Dog for Addison
Donation protected
Addison is the most sweet loving little girl you'll ever meet. On April 6, 2017 her life changed forever. We took her to the hospital fearing she may have diabetes. And we were right, her blood sugar was 1280. We almost lost our princess. They flew us to Dallas Childrens Hospital to care for her (she loved the jet ride). In Dallas they confirmed she is Type 1 diabetic. This is a life altering disease not only for Addison but our family as a whole. We've been informed of Diabetes Service Dogs that can be a life saver for her. At such a young age it's hard for her to understand all of it, let alone why she's different from all the other kids. A service dog will comfort her and make her feel so special, while also giving us the comfort. These Diabete Service Dogs can sense when her blood sugar gets too high or too low well before we would ever notice a change. Also at night alert us of any change or seizures while she is in her room asleep. Service dogs are not cheap and not very manageable for the average income. Any and all donations will help give my baby girl the comfort she needs and deserves. Money can be tight for everybody so if a donation is not possible a simple prayer is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to everyone.
