Help Our 17 Forced Retirees

This fund was created as an IMMEDIATE solution to a problem and not a political statement, forum for discussion or criticism of any government agency or official. 17 long-term MPDC members were FORCED to retire before they were ready emotionally or financially. Due to standard bureaucracy, their pay stopped immediately, but retirement checks are not expected for 30-60 days. Several are not in a financial position to pay basic bills and need our help. I don't expect the department, our leaders or citizens to step up and take care of these heroes' needs, that's what their brother and sisters in blue will do. Regardless of your rank, job, salary, union affiliation, political view, I challenge EVERYONE to donate. Aside from the fees taken by this online service, 100% of the donations will go to assist these heroes with bills and expenses, until their retirement checks arrive. Any remaining funds will be donated to COPS DC and HEROES (50% each).
