This is to help David and Cindy through some tough times.
David woke up one morning with no warning 50% blind in his right eye, after a few short hours his lost went from 50% to 75%. After having his eye checked he found that he has 65% retina detachment that required immediate surgery and a extended time off work followed by a cataract surgery.
The surgeon said the Catatact surgery went well, then he looked down on me at the table and said " can you see me? " in reply i told him "No" only with my good eye ?????????????, Then he proceeded to say " give it about 8 hours, The surgery was at approx 12:noon and still can't see. Now I am starting to get worried.
DR.Baxter ( Surgeon ) called me to check up on me and informed me he did some research and due to the Detached Retina surgery that it may take 24 to 48 hours before i will be able to see.
Day one post Surgery, Still no site, have just a little light at side and top. First post-op visit this morning at 8:45.
Dr.Office just called, post-op Visit pushed back to 1:15pm.
After receiving help from Claim Aid ( Patient Resource Advocate) My wife and I are now getting help from "Healthy Indiana Plan" This will cover most medicail bills.
This post was put up due to the request of several of my drivers
All funds will be used to help cover on going bills.
