Help Devin & Mercedes with Elijah’s medical bills

Hi, I am starting this go fund me for my brother and sister in law. Their little 6 month old boy Elijah is in ICU currently on a ventilator. This is to help them with medical bills, loss of income (dad is a firefighter)due to not being able to go to work cause they are needed at the hospital with little Elijah. Elijah was born with an issue where they didn’t think he would be able to breathe because there was something on his throat. They were not sure what it was. Well Elijah had to have surgery when he was about 3 months old where they discovered it was a cyst and it creates a pocket where infection builds up. He was supposed to have surgery in march to fix it. Elijah got really sick with Covid and the cyst filled up again and it was much worse than the 1st it happened . They had to take him into emergency surgery 1/3/24. When they tried to take the breathing tube out Elijah couldn’t breathe on his own because the swelling and infection is so bad. Currently he is in ICU on a ventilator. He is sedated and they hope the swelling will go down soon. Friday they want to take him into surgery again.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

We all love our little guy Elijah who is always so happy and always has a smile on his face.. He is a strong little guy tho and he is a trooper. He has already been through so much medically.
