Derby Days, Sigma Chi - Epsilon Upsilon

Help Sigma Chi raise money to benefit Huntsman Cancer Foundation. The Huntsman Cancer Foundation was founded by Jon and Karen Huntsman in 1995 in an effort to eradicate cancer. Their singular mission is to guarantee the future of cutting-edge research and ensure excellence in these endeavors at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah. In December 2012, Sigma Chi designated the Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) as its sole preferred philanthropic partner and to join them in their mission to further the treatment, education, and research conducted at the institute.

On April 12, 2013, Sigma Chi members presented the millionth dollar raised for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) to Significant Sig and Order of Constantine Sig Jon M. Huntsman, Sr., Pennsylvania 1959. The Huntsman Cancer Foundation, is one of the largest and most successful cancer research facilities in the world. Nationally, Sigma Chi has pledged over $20 million to go toward building a new wing in the Huntsman Cancer Research's facility.

For the first time in years, the Epsilon Upsilon chapter at ASU will be hosting our own Derby Days events in late September, 2021. We hope to make a significant contribution and exceed our chapter goal of $30,000. All donations will be sent to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation as well as used to host these events. We appreciate your support and investment in our efforts, and cannot thank you enough for your contribution to our cause.
