Deputy Finn's Recovery

On the morning of Monday May 24th, my husband, Deputy Finn responded to a vehicle accident on I-20 Eastbound. After conducting his primary investigation, Deputy Finn started directing traffic in order to keep one lane flowing around the accident scene. At 0342 hours a vehicle struck Deputy Finn at a high rate of speed causing him to go up and over the vehicle landing back on the pavement that resulting in multiple serious injuries'. Deputy Finn was treated on scene and then air lifted to a trauma center in Atlanta. Where he under went two surgeries to repair his injuries.
Deputy Finn is a loving husband and father of 3 girls (19, 15, 10) and is the primary source of income for his family. Due to the seriousness of Deputy Finn's injuries, it is estimated that it will take six months to a year before he can return back to duty. Deputy Finn has started his long road to recovery. Once Deputy Finn is released from the trauma unit, he will be transferred to a rehab unit at the same hospital. Deputy is looking at an extended period of time in rehab which has resulting in financial difficulties. Once released from the hospital Deputy Finn's financial difficulties will continue due to outpatient appointments for treatment and observations by physicians and physical therapy.
My husband, Deputy Finn is a loving and devoted father and his absence at home has devastated our family. His independence has been taken away and he now depends on myself and other for all his daily needs. Our children miss him so much and know his recovery and future rehabilitation will be a long road ahead. Their hearts are broken knowing daddy won't be home at the end of the day.
Deputy Finn has temporary lost the use of three limbs to include both arms and his left leg due to fractures. Deputy has sustained multiple bruises, cuts and road rash as well.
