NATURAL DISASTERS…fire, floods, hurricanes happen in other countries….other states…other neighborhoods…..UNTIL it doesn’t… I literally ran out of my home with kitty in tow, at 1:45 AM Sunday eve as a wall of flames was within 20 yards of my home. ALL GONE !!!….

You cannot begin to know how much the love and support you have sent my way these past few days have meant to me. Your strength has enabled me to continue to put one foot in front of the other. Many of you have asked what you might do to help.
SO, with some major pushing from my sister, here is what I need:
Fortunately, my insurance will cover most of my property loss, my personal property loss as well as temp housing. What it will not cover is the major loss to my business and studio.
I have been a photographer for over 50 years, it has been my life, and ALL of my photographic equipment, production equipment, as well as my framed photographic inventory ( 60-70 large framed works) are gone. Whatever you can donate to help me to recover from this major life event would be so greatly appreciated. www.dkohnstudios.com
