Dennis McBride's Family

Our friend and colleague, Dennis McBride, passed away in his sleep on Feb 24th leaving his beautiful family -  Jill, Mara, and Peter behind.  The family recently lost their home in a devastating fire.  In addition, they recently lost both of Dennis's parents.  Needless to say they could use some love and help!  

Dennis was one of a kind.  Larger than life.  When Dennis was around, you knew it.  Big crazy Irishman!  Always dreaming reading thinking... One of the smartest men we ever knew.  He could just as easily and intelligently talk about the Roman Empire as he could current events, sports, business or philosophy.  He often said he wished he could just make a living playing Jeopardy.  And he could have!

You never met a man who showed his affection like Dennis did.  HEY COME HERE...followed by a claw of a hand around your neck and the infamous McBride head butt.  He was optimistic and generous to a fault and without hesitation he would travel to make a personal connection or just bring you his incredible homemade soup.  The only reason for death is life.  Dennis sure did live life at full throttle.

Dennis worked in the telecommunications field his entire career and recruited hundreds of people into the industry.  So many of us have Dennis to thank for being in this profession.

His wife Jill will now be the sole provider and without Dennis will fall on hard times.  Dennis, always the gracious host, would and did give his last dollar and credit to others.  He certainly was there for us in times of need.
