Denmead Drone Search and Rescue

Hi everyone my name is Chris, I'm one of the Directors at Denmead Drone Search and Rescue this is our Fundraising story. Denmead Drone Search and Rescue,  was set up to help find missing people, and pets in our local community. We have rapidly expanded and we now cover all of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We are a community led resource for the community. Our Aim is to provide local Authorities, and families with extra resources when people or pets go missing. We can provide 24/7 all year round support. Using people's hobbies as a means to achieve this. We have Drone pilot's, Trained Dog Handlers, our Horse section, Off road ATV section, Marine unit based on Hayling Island, and our group volunteers who enjoy walking, kayaking, Amateur Radio ect. We pride ourselves on being Reliable, efficient, and professional. Working with the families of missing people or pets we give 100% all the time. We also work alongside other Charities to reunited Pets, and loved ones. We are trying to Raise some funds, so we can purchase some much needed equipment, example, Personal Radio's for safety and too speed up our communication when out searching, Dog Traps along with 3g/4g cameras to monitor said traps. Flir equipment (heat detection cameras) First Aid equipment and training. Training for volunteers on mental health awareness, Search and map reading techniques and possibly a rapid response vehicle in the future. We appreciate that with Covid 19 Money is tight but if you can spare just a pound, it will make a massive difference, and potentially save lives.
