Dems Fall Break Trip to Virginia

The Yale College Democrats are intentional advocates for progressive change in New Haven, in Connecticut, and across the country. We fight for candidates and causes that advance equal justice, human dignity, and the empowerment of all people, while resisting attacks on our values. We embrace students of all backgrounds who want to take action and join a diverse community of dedicated progressives.
One of the ways we solidify this community is with our annual Fall Break trip. We provide Dems who are staying on campus the opportunity to do political work outside of the Yale Bubble, and have a lot of fun too! Last year , we went to Philadelphia to canvass for the 2016 election. This year, we are going to canvass in Fairfax, Virginia for the gubernatorial election.
While we are already receiving support from parent donations and the University Organizations Funding Committee, we need your help to make this trip a reality.
We plan to take 30 Yalies down to Virginia this Fall Break. We estimate that each one will cost about $80. Would you consider sponsoring a Yalie to help us achieve our mission?
