Dekoda and Brenton Custody Fund

On January 8th 2017, a son, brother and loving father of three (12y, 8y, 6m) Richard Powell died following a hit and run attack.

The two youngest children have remained in the care of their Richard's parents where they have been for 15 months. Both grandparents have provided a stable and loving home for these children.

The grandparents are now facing another obstacle as they fight a lengthy and expensive custody battle.

We've set up this fund to help them with the legal expenses and other ongoing grief / recovery support costs. This includes the very expensive process of court hearings, so the grandparents can continue to hold on to their memories of their departed son.
