DECODE DETECT: Breast Cancer Awareness 2022

From day one it’s been a DECODE mission to support breast cancer patients and survivors, showing them that they don’t have to take that first step — or any step after — by themselves. You can say, “it takes a village” and “no person is an island,” and you’d be right. But saying isn’t enough when doing is an option. So we’re doing.

We’re partnering with The Rose and raising funds to help them provide mammograms and lifesaving services to those who are uninsured.

And we’re talking detection, but we’re also talking about what the breast cancer journey looks like for each individual. Things like finding your social support networks, specific care for trans individuals, and how you don’t need to be a doctor to help someone close to you go through treatment.

Because we don’t just stand by somebody — we stand by everybody. After all, we’re in this together.
