Debo's Cancer Surgery Fundraiser

Debo is doing great! He got his cone off in the end of November and has healed greatly! He is so full of energy and love ❤️ we are still struggling to pay this bill from his surgery though so any help is greatly appreciated! $13,000 is more then we ever imagined!

Hi, My names is Amanda Stand. Debo is my 7.5 year old German Shepard mix. I rescued him from a reservation (Kyle) Pine Ridge, SD when i found him he was with a bunch of big dogs running loose around that neighborhood I asked around and my friend said her sister seen him all the time wondering around so I couldn't leave such a helpless little soul! He had a short hook tail and was just a skinny tiny puppy! I was living in Mobridge, SD. At that time. I was born in Hudson, Raised in Roberts and current live in River Falls. St. Croix co is home to us. Recently in August 2023 we found out Debo had Spindle Cell Scarcoma on his hind hip. He had surgery on Sept 12th 2023. Before undergoing surgery he had to have multiple appointments for tumor biopsy, blood work, x-rays and was also put on medication which has been a constant expenses as its been more prescriptions, changes in medicine and doesn't sound like he will be off of them any time soon. Sept 28th I took him to Southview animal hospital in West St. Paul because it is cheaper then AERC and they have a great staff! He has been there for the past 4 days. They are trying to get his infection under control, gave him stronger pain medication, a additional antibiotic and are doing daily wound cleaning and make a special bandage for him. They let me know Friday 9/29 He is going to need a closure surgery. This surgery is set for Oct 12th. These bills are becoming very hard to manage. I do have carecredit but it is already maxed out. I appreciate everyone keeping him in your thoughts and prayers! This has already been a long road for a doggie and its not finished yet! Anything will help as I am behind on all bills because of these unexpected expenses. The good news is they did get all the cancer from this area and it hadn't spread to his lungs according to x-rays!
