Dearborn Police Explorer Post

The Dearborn Police Explorer Post currently consists of 25 young adults ranging from the age of 14-21.  We are a 100% volunteer program that gives back over 10,000 volunteer hours to the community each year. 

The mission of the Dearborn Police Explorer Program is to develop responsible, educated, and capable youth in our community. The program strives to offer the Explorers the opportunity to build the characteristics and qualities needed to become an effective law enforcement officer.

All funds will go to support the operation of the Dearborn Police Explorer Post.  The Dearborn Police Explorer Post hopes to send at least 10 Explorers to the 2018 National Law Enforcement Explorer Conference in Indiana.  This is a large scale event with more than 300 Police Explorer Posts from across the country meet to train and compete for first place in many law enforcement topics.  The cost to send 1 Explorer to this event is approximately   $600 per Explorer.  Our goal is to send each Explorer with incurring minimal out of pocket expenses.   Please help us send as many Dearborn Police Explorers to this great event!!!
