Feed The ER

Support our local Doctors and Nurses

Napoleon once said "An army marches on it's stomach". During this COVID-19 pandemic, our mission is to provide rest and recuperation (R&R) for our amazing local ER doctors and nurses while at the same time providing financial relief for struggling small local restaurants and food trucks by supplying 50 meals per day for 30 days to over 20 ER's across Volusia, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola Counties. We are also hoping to supply COVID-19 testing facilities and local urgent cares as well.

This charitable cause will take place April 6 - May 5

We have not seen the worst of this pandemic, but we have seen how the worst of times can bring out the best in Americans, and we need our army of ER doctors and nurses now more than ever!

How can you help?
A $10 donation will help us supply one tired and stressed doctor or nurse with a hot meal and a cold drink. With your donation, we will order the meal through a small local restaurant and/or food truck.

That provider may be caring for someone you know and love. That local restaurant or food truck might belong to a family member or friend.

We realize times are tight for everyone, and appreciate any effort into making this happen for our army of doctors and nurses during this time.

Most of us can't donate personal protective equipment (PPE), but we can contribute our time, social networks, and our prayers. Please consider being a volunteer!

Become A Sponsor/Recommend A Local Restaurant or Food Truck!
We are actively looking for corporate sponsors, as well as recommendations/nominations for local restaurants & food trucks to support.

To be a corporate sponsor or to help with recommendations, please send an email to:

From April 6th to May 5th, let's make this happen!

How it all started (Our Organizers)

James Simmons, The Simmons Law Group

James Simmons is a local business owner and Central Florida Personal Injury Attorney. Recently, his family lost a loved one, Uncle Nelson Cosey, to COVID19 in New Orleans, Louisiana. While supporting his wife and family through this time of grief, James received a call from a colleague of his from Tampa, FL, Attorney Kelly Cook. She was advocating for someone to bring a movement to Central Florida that she coined “Feed the ER” which started as a small act of kindness that meant so much to those working on the front lines of this Corona Virus Crisis.

James not only took this conversation as a call to action but also as a means to honor Uncle Nelson by supporting those who are taking the fight against these tragedies that we all may regrettably face. James Simmons through The Simmons Law Group thanks all healthcare service providers in our local Communities and hopes you will join him in championing this cause to FEED THE ER!

Leonard A. Rollman, DC, Wellspring Health & Regenerative Medicine

Dr. Rollman is the clinic director of Wellspring Health and has been serving Central Florida with exceptional healthcare for nearly a decade.  He has offices in Altamonte Springs, Orange City and the Daytona Beach area that treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions that result from car, truck or motor cycle accidents, slip and falls and sports injuries.

Dr. Rollman has also been personally effected by the virus, when his two oldest daughters (19 and 11) were quarantined for 2 weeks due to possible direct exposure to COVID-19 at the hospital.  Much like James, Dr. Rollman could not just watch his fellow front line healthcare workers exhaust themselves both mentally and physically while he watched from the sidelines.  Dr. Rollman and all of the staff at Wellspring Health wholehearted stand beside you and the small business community that has been decimated by this virus.

Preston Toor, Auxilia

Auxilia means “helper” in Latin. Normally Auxilia helps local businesses by building them awesome websites and providing them with lead generation services. However, the US is in a state of crisis. Preston (the owner) served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998-2003. He was in the Corps during 9/11 and served the US during its time of great need deploying to the Middle East twice. By participating in this project, Auxilia is able to provide help, serve our community, and help fight this new war on the US...just in a different way than 9/11.
