Day 22 is when the heart starts beating in a human fetus and this is the day Scout Nicole Daniel started her battle. Kaelinne and Nate have had to deal with the news that no parent wants to hear, their baby has life threatening heart condition called Truncus Arteriosus, which means she has a very large hole in her heart. As soon as she is born and weighs enough she will be enduring heart surgeries.
Scout's Doctors have decided that her best chance of survival will start at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Stanford, California. Kaelinne will travel to Stanford, give birth and literally within seconds Scout will be whisked away to the NICU to start the next stage of her battle. Expenses are going to quickly add up. Kaelinne will have to stay in Stanford until Scout can be operated on and is ready to make the trip home. Kaelinne's living expenses in Stanford and Scout's uncovered medical expenses seem daunting, but we CAN help!

I've never seen a braver Mommy & Daddy or a baby with more fight. Scout has two sisters and a brother who are excited to welcome her home.
