GiveforLA: Corona Hygiene Kits for the Homeless

Hi, my name is Aria! During the quarantine I thought to myself who is the most vulnerable and at-risk population, those affected by homelessness came to mind. Due to their lack of supplies, sanitation, and money I knew they would be the most susceptible to get the virus. Because of this, I started the GiveforLA project.


GiveforLA's mission is to provide those affected by homelessness with hygiene care packages which include a reusable mask, hand sanitizer, and two bars of soap. This is to ensure personal sanitation as well as providing supplies to limit the potential spreading of the virus to others.


So far, with the support of the LA community, I have put together 1500 care packages and have distributed them to those affected by homelessness all over LA. Now I am asking for your support to help me create more care packages to help more of these individuals in different parts of Los Angeles.


My current goal is to make and distribute 3000 of these hygiene care packages to those affected by homelessness. To meet this goal I need to raise $6000, which is $2 per kit.

Donation Cycle 1: 1500 hygiene care packages made!

Give for LA's mission is to provide those affected by homelessness with hygiene care packages which include a reusable mask, a pair of gloves, and two bars of soap. This is to ensure personal sanitation as well as providing supplies to limit the potential spreading of the virus to others.


So far I have put together 50 care packages and have distributed them to those affected by homelessness in Santa Monica. Now I am asking for your support to help me create more care packages to help more of these individuals in different parts of Los Angeles.


My current goal is to make and distribute 400 of these hygiene care packages to those affected by homelessness. To meet this goal I need to raise $1200, which is $3 per kit.
