Daxton Cook & family

Quint & Stacy Cook are the amazing parents of 4 adorable boys, Easton, Creighton, Kipton, and Daxton. Daxton is the youngest at almost 9 months.   Stacy is an incredibly intuitive mama who pressed for an MRI after some recent appointments for Dax. There they discovered that he has a tumor in his front temporal lobe. This was completely unrelated to what they were looking for, thank goodness for the Lord's great sovereignty and a mothers intuition! The doctors believe it to be benign, but it will need to be removed.  As they monitor Dax for any seizure activity, to determine when the right time is for surgery, they are making countless trips to KC, Childrens Mercy. On top of that, they have an awesome opportunity to see a top pediatric neuro surgeon in Colorado next week. It is obvious that medical bills, gas, and travel are going to be adding up. As the body of Christ, it's a joy to rally around each other in time of need, to bear each others burdens, and support one another. I know first and foremost, the most important need is prayer.  Please pray that our Father's hands would be on each and every doctor and nurse that come in contact with Daxton. Please pray that supernatural peace would be with the family and wisdom as they navigate difficult decisions. Pray with boldness that any/all side effects of the tumor would cease and that at the next MRI the tumor would be completely gone.  If you feel led to give, I encourage you to do so. I think it would be amazing if we could meet the goal to fully cover the CO trip (March 21-24th) for them.   For anyone that personally knows the Cooks, they know the generous hearts this family has. They would humbly turn away these offers as long as they could, but we won't let them anymore. :)

**Update! Daxton will be having surgery to remove the tumor on April 24th at Children's Mercy in Kansas City. Please continue praying over the surgeon and Neurological staff.  Let's cover the family in prayer for wisdom, peace, and protection. Pray for NO infection after surgery and a quick recovery. And please continue to share the Go fund Me as a way to ease their mounting financial burden.
