Help David with whatever is next

When David left teaching and the states for St Thomas there was some uncertainty, but he had clearly found a home there and was happy with his job, friends, all the wonderful people he has met, and the island as a whole. After 2 hurricanes devistated the island he lives on (as well as those surrounding it) tourism is virtually non-existent and the resorts David had been working out of will be closed for some time because of damage. While he is physically okay and thankfully did not take any major damage to his home he is out of work and left trying to figure out what to do next. As of right now he is waivering between staying on island, finding a new job, and making it work there or leaving the island for a season somewhere else while it recovers. David will travel back to CA for a couple weeks (on a trip planned long before the storms) then will head back to the islands and figure out what is next. The purpose of this is to, upon his return, either help him get through the next few months on island or help him with the moving costs to whatever is next. I would like to emphasize that David will be fine regardless, this is just to potentially help him along the way, and any help for him is greatly appreciated.
