Dave Dahmer, father to 3 little kids, husband to his wife of 16 years, who has also been an EMT in Columbus for 16 years, was diagnosed with something that everyone dreads to hear, 'You have cancer'.
After having pain for 5 months & having multiple labs, an X-ray, a CT, & finally a colonoscopy, the biopsy revealed the biggest punch in the gut. This son/husband/father has colon cancer. While the diagnosing doctor did warn of chemotherapy and most likely surgery; upon their meeting with the surgeon in the coming week, they will know the next steps in the journey.
Just a week before this big news, Danielle, his wife lost her job after almost 15 years due to a layoff. Danielle also has MS which makes daily tasks difficult at times.
Not only will they be needing financial help but possibly meals and definitely prayers. We ask that if you are able to contribute that you do as you feel led. Thank you for your generosity.
