Early Saturday morning, January 13th, David Moyle suffered a heart attack in his home. He was rushed to the local hospital and eventually admitted to University of Maryland Medical Center.
On Thursday morning, January 18th, a quadruple bypass surgery was performed on David, and he has been recovering since.
He recently got out of bed and into the chair:
He also went on a brief, yet difficult walk. In his words, "The hardest thing I've ever done. Even more difficult than running the marathon."
So Dave will be recovering for quite some time. It will most likely be at least 6 weeks before he can return to work, and he has an amazing wife and 3 teenagers to provide for:
I personally have known this fine man for over 35 years (when he disrupted our 4th grade class as the new kid all the way from Pennsylvania!), and he is one of the kindest, most generous people on the planet. He would do anything for anyone, but now he and his family need our help.
Please help in any way that you can. No amount is too small.
