David Campbell's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Dear friends and supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of David passing. After a long and courageous battle with stage 4 brain cancer (Glioblastoma), David peacefully left this world on June 27, 2023. He displayed incredible strength and resilience throughout his journey, fighting against all odds. We are immensely grateful for the love and support we received from all of you during this challenging time.

As David's wife and children, we want to express our deepest appreciation for the outpouring of kindness, prayers, and encouragement we have received from our community. Your unwavering support has been a source of comfort and strength for us. We are truly touched by the way you rallied behind David, showing your love and compassion every step of the way.

David's passions were many, but his greatest joy came from coaching baseball/softball. He dedicated years to coaching our youngest son locally on the central coast and our youngest daughter for a significant period. Additionally, he cherished the opportunity to connect with childhood friends across the United States through his annual participation in a fantasy football league. His dreams led him to spend time in Las Vegas every June, chasing his aspiration of becoming the World Series of Poker champion.

In light of David's passing, we find ourselves faced with the financial burden of medical expenses and other related costs. We are immensely grateful to those who have already contributed to the GoFundMe campaign, but we kindly ask for continued support. Your donations will help alleviate the financial strain on our family, allowing us to focus on healing and cherishing David's memory.

We understand that not everyone may be able to contribute financially, and we appreciate all forms of support. Kindly consider sharing this update, spreading the word, and keeping David and our family in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. Your acts of kindness, big or small, will make a lasting impact as we navigate through grief and the healing process.

Once again, thank you for being a part of David's journey, for embracing him as a husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend. We will forever hold his memory close to our hearts, and your presence in our lives has made a profound difference.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Shannon, the children, and the entire Campbell family
