DASTAK Foundation: Flood Relief Pakistan

Dignity Campaign and #ForYouMaa Campaign by DASTAK Foundation for Displaced Menstruating Girls/Womxn and Pregnant Women in Pakistan (Emergency Flood Relief)

DASTAK Foundation (a Pakistan-based community driven feminist non-profit) is running a nationwide campaign to support and facilitate menstruating individuals and pregnant women affected by floods in Pakistan. We are distributing dignity kits (sanitary napkins, sanitary pads, underwear, soap, tissue paper and other essential items) among menstruating individuals and Maa Kits (prenatal kits) among pregnant women who are homeless and adversely affected by the current calamity that has hit the country and impacted 33 million people. DASTAK Foundation has launched its Dignity Campaign and #ForYouMaa Campaign across social media platforms and is in urgent and dire need of financial support to support girls and women. We are working day and night to ensure that the needs of girls and women are recognized during this crisis.

Impact: We have reached out to 15000 menstruators and 500 pregnant women since 22nd August, 2022 in 36 flood affected cities across Pakistan.

The money has been gathered through our online campaign. However, there are 8 million menstruating individuals and 650000 pregnant women who still need our support. We are sharing constant updates from on-ground here.
