Darren and Kristi Zane have been great friends of mine and as a lot of you know Darren is a half owner of Asylum Afterhours.  Throughout the last five years, Darren and Kristi have selflessly given so much of their lives and efforts towards making others happy.  In pouring so much of their lives and efforts for Asylum, they have no doubt been responsible for so many amazing nights and events.  Their legacy in Honolulu nightlife has been cemented and I personally feel such a debt of gratitude for what they have done.  As a lot of you know Darren and Kristi Zane are currently expecting a baby boy sometime in late March or early April of 2015.  Tragically, their baby boy as been diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect and is extremely hard to treat and care for.  Just for their baby to survive birth, Darren and Kristi will have to spend at least 4 months in California.  As no doctors in Hawaii are able to successfully perform the surgery he will need immediately after birth, this is Darren and Kristi's only way of giving their child a chance at life.  Their baby boy will have to undergo a minimum of 3 surgeries after birth, which will most likely all be done in California as well.  Although Kristi does have medical insurance, the cost of co-pays for numerous initial surgeries, housing and accommodations in California, and the continuing care and follow up surgeries, we ask that you please donate to this urgent cause.  Because they will be forced to stay away from home in California for so long, I have put a goal of $25,000.00 for this fundraising campaign.  Please share this page with your friends and let's do our best to raise money and give some hope to this tragic situation.  I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for visiting this page and giving a donation for Darren and Kristi's baby boy.
