Daniel Shapiro's Eagle Scout Project

Hello everyone!  My name is Daniel Shapiro and I am a Life Scout with Troop 301 in Sahuarita, AZ.   I am excited that I have received approval to proceed with my Eagle Scout project that the District and my Committee feels that this is a scout worthy project. 

For that last four years, I have been a competitive swimmer with the Sahuarita Stingrays and one of the things I have noticed is that there isn't a proper place to display the American Flag at our home pool for swim meets.  It is currently clipped to the bottom of the scoreboard and is usually blocked by spectators and their tents.  So I feel that there is a great need to put in a telescoping flag pole (pole to be removed when not in use) and light to properly display our flag.

My project will be completed in one weekend by me and my fellow scouts.  My project requires financial support and if you could please donate I would be extremely thankful.  Any left over proceeds will be donated to the project beneficiary which is the Sahuarita Unified School District.  *Your donation may be tax deductible since it is going to help a Boy Scouts of America project for a fellow nonprofit recipient, please consult you tax professional.
