Getting Dani back on her feet!

Hello there! My name is Danica Klas, I am from Hood River, Oregon but have been living abroad in New Zealand since September 2015. I spent an entire year working and saving up money to fufill my lifelong dream of travelling the world. By September I sold all my belongings, and arrived in New Zealand. I was able to save up enough money working in the south island by January to travel the rest of the country by myself. I lived out of my Subaru car. On April 2nd I arrived at a friends house in Auckland. I was planning on staying one night and leaving the next morning to the East coast. I awoke the next day to find no site of my car or anything that was in it, which was everything but my Wallet and the clothes I had worn that night. Tuesday April 5th, my car had been towed but inside there was nothing. The car has been damaged and I lost all my belongings both material valuables and irreplacable items. This included 5,000 photos on my Canon, my beloved ukulele, and a handful of trinkets gifted to me during my travels. The New Zealand Herald was kind enough to spread my story and within minutes I was recieving so much support. I cannot thank any of you enough for your words of kindness. I was asked to create this campaign for those who want to help me get back on my feet (hopefully with shoes!). I originally had planned on reselling the car to help me settle into a place and start working again so I can afford a plane ticket home. Unfortunatly, I no longer be able to do that and need some help. If my goal is reached the money I recieve will be used to strictly purchase some essential items, travel the rest of New Zealand before settle back into everyday life and hopefully to replace
some items that were stolen as well.
