Dance is Play Fundraiser for Blanchet House

Hi all,

My name is Manavi Thakur and I am a senior at Jesuit High School. In 2018, I founded a nonprofit (501(c)3) called Dance is Play (DiP) with a mission to promote cultural acceptance and inclusivity among kids through dance. I run DiP as an after-school program at elementary schools in the Beaverton/Portland area. I started my nonprofit for kids, and I want to use this time away from school to support kids in need.

I turn 17 on March 30th and would love to give all the money I raise from this effort to the Blanchet House of Hospitality, a nonprofit service organization that provides food, clothes, and shelter to all who are in need. Each day that a school remains shut is just another day that a kid might go without eating a meal.

My goal is to earn $2003. Every dollar you donate will feed a kid. Thank you so much!
