Damon Fontenot lost his battle with cancer on November 18, 2015, after being diagnosed less than four weeks prior. 

Damon was a beloved and valued member of the sports journalism community. He made an impact on many lives, not just with subjects he covered, but with his family, friends and coworkers. We all have our memories with him and the best to keep that memory alive is through education.

Damon was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and there's not a better way to pass his memory along than through a scholarship fund at OU.  Any amount you can donate will go a long way to providing a worthy student of a great education. You can donate through here or through:

Anyone that wishes to donate the fund needs to include this fund number on your correspondence and check when mailing it in to the OU Foundation. It would be a good idea to also include his name.
