Daisy Scamp fundraising

As you know we have been fundraising for the family of one of our year 4 pupils who is currently undergoing extensive treatment for Myeloid Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. She has been under the care of Alder Hey Hospital and has now transferred to Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Staff at school are taking part in two sponsored events over the next few weeks to raise money for the family.

Mrs Kisby, 3A’s teacher is taking part in a 100km run through May after being challenged by her daughter! She has already reached 70km and is now on the final leg.

Other members of staff are taking part in the Wirral Coastal Walk on Sunday 11th June. The 12.5 mile walk will start at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton and end at Wirral Country Park in Thurstaston. Families are welcome to join them or to take part in the shorter 4 or 7 mile walks.
