DACA and AP Mutual Aid

Donation protected
On December 8th 2020, U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis, ordered the Department of Homeland Security to restore DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) to its 2012 original version. This means thousands of young undocumented immigrants will be able to apply for the first time since 2017. DACA renewals will be once again on a two-year basis, and recipients may apply for Advance Parole, if eligible. All this was possible because of countless organizers and activists around the country that collectively fought for years for this benefit.

Although these are good news, DACA recipients are still facing uncertainty because the Trump administration might attempt to revoke Judge's Garaufis decision, and on December 22nd, Judge Hanen from Texas will be making a decision on its fate. Judge Hanen terminated the program a few years ago.

We are a collective of DACA recipients and former undocumented allies set on raising as many funds as possible to cover the full fee of DACA and/or Advance Parole for as many recipients as possible!

This mutual aid effort will prioritize DACA or potential DACA recipients that are queer, single parents, and Black, however EVERYONE is welcomed to register and we will do our best to cover as many people as possible.

We are racing against the calendar. Please consider donating to our fundraiser and let's spread a little hope this Holiday season!
