Katherine needs our help as well as prayers! Katherine has been hospitalized at University of Pennsylvania Hospital MICU in critical condition  since she was airlifted from Cape Regional on August 5th. Katherine went into septic shock from an infection through out her body, which led to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome where she was unable to breathe on her own. She has been medically paralized and sedated in hopes that her lungs can heal while working towards being taken off of her respirator.She has a constant fever and her mouth and throat are very swollen so she is unable to inhale any air. Every day she fights to get healthy but is having difficulty turning that corner and along with all of this she has Type 1 Diabetes so she is a slow healer. She is only 27 years old and a young lady that is full of love, life, and kindness and would be the first one to help someone out if needed. She has a contagious giggle and is one of the sweetest people on earth. To date, she has missed almost a full month of work, is accumulating an extraordinary amount of medical bills, and has a long road of recovery ahead of her so we are turning to all of you for any help that you may be able to give.
