Hi all -
For those of you who admire and love Debbie Smelko as much as I do, I'm hoping you might help - ON THE QT - raise money for what she believes would be a "great addition" to her wheelchair. Every year on Sept. 17 she asks us all to never drive drunk b/c of the accident that put her in a wheelchair...this year marks her 36th year in a wheelchair and I'd love to honor her amazing spirit and message.
If you've seen her wheel up and down hills by hand, you've seen how hard it is (I couldn't do it!), but she never says a word, even with her bad shoulder. This is an attachment that would power her up and down the hills effortlessly.
She's been so giving to me as a person and a friend, I'd love to be able to surprise her with this gift...just for being so incredibly strong and kind.
Will you consider donating? I'd love to surprise her with it...
