Help for Dominica

Friends, Family, Strangers,
The Caribbean and Southern United States have been devastated in recent weeks by the hands of several powerful storms. Thankfully, many affected parts of the Caribbean are overseas territories of European countries with vast resources.
Hurricane Maria devastated a small Caribbean island named Dominica- an island you are likely only now familiar with because of this devastating storm but one we have held dear for many years as members of our family call it home. This small community of Dominicans here in NY have family still on the island that need desperate assistance. Some family members have still not been located.
At this moment, only limited supplies are getting to the island. We ask that you contribute anything that you can, any amount at all and share this with your friends. The money will go directly to the family and friends in Grand Bay, Dominica to help with food, water, essentials and anything needed to re-build their lives.
As soon as we are able, we will be purchasing essential supplies and building materials and will be shipping them directly to the affected village in Grand Bay, Dominica.
Thank you for any and all help- we truly apprecaite it.
