Suzy Bell has teamed up with Usborne Books and More to get books into the hands of the Area CYFS foster care kids! It is our goal to get at least one book into each of the 86 children currently in LaSalle, Bureau Marshall, Putnam and Stark counties.
Every dollar you donate will be matched by Usborne at 50% which means your money will help even more kids get books! A donation of $25 will get books into the hands of 3-4 kids! We are collecting donations November 3- 7, 2020.
Did you know books in the home are the single biggest indicator of academic success — surpassing income, parents’ education, family composition, and all other factors! Please help us invest in these kids' futures by giving them the chance to own their own book and reap the literacy benefits!
